Au Gres has a recreational cannabis store of its own now. Highway 23 is our second shop, on US-23 in the heart of downtown, a few minutes from Saginaw Bay and the open water of Lake Huron. It is family-owned and Michigan-grown, the same as our Standish store, open 9 AM to 9 PM every day, with a drive-through and online ordering.
Grand opening weekend, July 3 to 6.
We are opening the doors with a proper weekend on the coast. Friday, July 3 is the celebration day: free Koegel's hot dogs and Guernsey Farms ice cream while supplies last, a free pre-roll for everyone who visits, and a $300 mystery prize raffle, with an entry for every $100 spent that day. The grand opening deals then run all the way through Monday, July 6, the long Fourth of July weekend.

Where Highway 23 is.
We are on US-23 in downtown Au Gres, on the west side of the highway, marked by the green Highway 23 shield. There is free parking in the lot, a drive-through window, and a walk-in counter, whichever is easier for the trip. Inside you will find Michigan-grown flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, and more. It is an adult-use store: anyone 21 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID can shop, and no medical card is required.
About twenty minutes south of Tawas.
If you are coming down US-23 from Tawas City or East Tawas, Au Gres is about a twenty-minute drive south, and Highway 23 is an easy stop on the way. We see a lot of fishing-trip and cottage-weekend traffic; we are on the route for much of the Saginaw Bay east shore.
