Most dispensaries buy their flower from whoever is selling that week. We grow ours. The flower behind the counter at both the Standish and Au Gres stores is grown by the same family that runs them, on a farm a few miles from the Standish shop. That is the whole idea behind Highway Dispos: one family, one farm, two stores on the road north.
We grow what we sell.
Josh and Chase started growing in 2008, well before the laws caught up to Michigan. The flower is grown under the family's cultivation brand, Green Mitten Pharms, and every plant is grown and tracked inside Michigan's state seed-to-sale system. Because it travels a few miles from the farm to the store instead of across the state through a distributor, it reaches the shelf fresh, and the same family that grew it is standing at the counter when you ask about it.
What is on the shelf.
The flower is hand-trimmed and hang-dried, not rushed. You will find it on the menu a few ways:
- Packaged flower in the usual sizes, from grams and eighths up through ounces.
- Value and bulk options when the rooms and rows come down together.
- Pre-rolls rolled from the same flower, for when you would rather not roll your own.
The selection rotates as different indoor rooms and outdoor rows finish, so the current list lives on each store's live menu. We will not tell you how any of it is going to make you feel, because that is different for everyone and it is not ours to promise. What we will tell you is exactly where it came from and how it was grown.
Order ahead for pickup.
Browse the menu for whichever store is closer, build your order, and pick it up inside or at the drive-through. Both stores are open 9 AM to 9 PM every day. Michigan dispensaries take cash and PIN debit, and there is an in-store ATM at each location; credit cards are not accepted at any Michigan dispensary because of federal banking rules.
